Bergamo Verde

Nel 2015, insieme a Dario Carta, siamo stati chiamati dall’Assessorato al Verde del Comune di Bergamo per realizzare uno strumento conoscitivo del patrimonio forestale presente sul territorio. Attraverso il confronto con gli uffici tecnici di riferimento, che hanno fornito tutti i materiali (cartografie e dati), e con l’Assessora Marzia Marchesi abbiamo così deciso di progettare una mappa sopra cui evidenziare l’importante presenza di verde nella città. Il nome proposto, e accettato, è stato proprio Bergamo Verde. Abbiamo utilizzato le mappe fornite per evidenziare le aree più interessanti e utili ai cittadini e abbiamo usato il retro per raccontare alcuni focus sottoforma di infografiche e icone.

In 2015, together with Dario Carta,, we were commissioned by the Assessorato al Verde del Comune di Bergamo to create a tool for understanding the area’s forest heritage. Following discussions with the relevant technical departments, which provided all the materials (maps and data), and with Assessora Marzia Marchesi, we decided to design a map highlighting the city’s significant green spaces. The name proposed – and accepted – was ‘Bergamo Verde’. We used the maps provided to highlight the areas of greatest interest and most useful to residents, and we used the reverse side to present a number of key features in the form of infographics and icons.
