Questa è la sezione dedicata a Goodtypes, la mia private press.
Ci sono lavori prodotti su richiesta e altri fatti per piacere mio. Hai in mente un progetto speciale stampato dei letterpress ma non sai che pesci pigliare? Questo è il posto giusto! Contattami e capiremo insieme come fare. Il processo di composizione e stampa richiede tempo e pazienza ma non ti preoccupare, non sono costoso come Aldo Manuzio.
Prima di iniziare, però, vorrei mostrarti i miei due laboratori, se poi vorrai venire a trovarmi, ne sarò ben lieto.

Some of the work are done on request, while others for my own pleasure. Do you have a letterpress project in mind but don’t know how to go about it? This is the place for you! Contact me and we’ll figure it out together. The setting and printing process takes time and patience, but don’t worry, I’m not as expensive as Aldo Manuzio.
Before we begin, however, I would like to show you my two printshops. If you would like to come and visit me, you are more than welcome.
Studio
Si trova all’interno della Scuola Superiore d’Arte Applicata, al Gallaratese, 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata MM1 San Leonardo. Le macchine sono un torchio tirabozze Grafix GXO Haas & Kellhofer del 1971 e quattro tirabozze manuali. Il Grafix è il torchio professionale per eccellenza, versatile e preciso. I tirabozze servono per la didattica e i piccoli progetti, indispensabili per le attività di Pagina Mastro. Infine, ma non certo meno importanti, i caratteri: cinque cassettiere di legno, piombo e plastica. Tutto quello che serve per stampare qualsiasi cosa.
It is based at the Scuola Superiore d’Arte Applicata, at Gallaratese, 5 minutes walk from the MM1 San Leonardo stop. The presses are a 1971 Grafix GXO Haas & Kellhofer press and four table top ones. The Grafix is the professional press par excellence, versatile and precise. The table tops are used for teaching and small projects, absolutely fundamental for Pagina Mastro. Last but certainly not least, the typefaces: five cabinets full of wood, lead and plastic types. Everything you need to print anything.
Garage
Il garage è a Settimo Milanese, paese agricolo vicino a Milano. Circondato da campi, si possono incontrare alcuni degli animali alloctoni del territorio: scoiattoli, nutrie e conigli. La campagna alle porte della città. All’interno (ancora un po’ grezzo), un piccolo laboratorio attrezzato per la produzione di tirature medie: una pedalina Minima Saroglia, formato massimo 35 x 50 cm, una Adana 5×3 e pochi ma selezionati caratteri, sia in legno che in piombo. La stamperia sottocasa.
The garage is in Settimo Milanese, a small agricultural town near Milan. Surrounded by fields, you can meet some of the allochthonous animals of the territory: squirrels, nutria and rabbits. The countryside at the gates of the city. Inside (still a bit rough), there is a small printshop for the production of medium runs: a Minima Saroglia platine press, maximum format 35 x 50 cm, an Adana 5×3 and a few but selected types, both in wood and lead. The printshop under the house.
