Diserzione

Guerra alla guerra è il titolo di un libro di Ernst Friedrich del 1924, realizzato pochi anni dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale. La maggior parte delle pagine è occupata da fotografie della natura distrutta dalle battaglie e dei reduci sfigurati dalle ferite riportate. Una denuncia efficace di cos’è la guerra e quali sono i sui frutti. E un invito implicito al suo rifiuto.
Adesso che nei media rimbombano gli stessi suoni di allora, la diserzione è doverosa e necessaria.
La cartolina, distribuita in 1000 copie per Milano, è un invito a questo.

War Against War is the title of a book by Ernst Friedrich published in 1924, a few years after the First World War. Most of the pages are filled with photographs of nature destroyed by battle and veterans disfigured by their wounds. It is an effective denunciation of what war is and what its consequences are. It is also an implicit invitation to reject it.
Now that the media is echoing the same sounds as back then, desertion is both necessary and a duty.
