Pensando all’opera di Nanni Balestrini, non possono che venire in mente i suoi esperimenti letterari come Tristano, il libro cut-up. Pensando a un libro che avesse come tema la Libertà ho cercato di riprendere quella tecnica: sedici citazioni di vari autori, politici, attivisti che ho sempre apprezzato, una personale mappa di riferimenti. Il viaggio parte dalla Germania per andare in Sud Africa, passare l’Oceano Atlantico e sbarcare nelle Americhe. Per poi tornare in Europa.
Il libro è stato fatto per finanziare l’apertura, a Perugie di Cult, un community hub dedicato ai giovani.

When thinking about Nanni Balestrini’s work, his literary experiments such as Tristano, the cut-up book, immediately come to mind. Thinking about a book that had Freedom as its theme, I tried to use that technique: sixteen quotes from various authors, politicians and activists that I have always admired, a personal map of references. The journey starts in Germany, travels to South Africa, crosses the Atlantic Ocean and lands in the Americas. Then returns to Europe.
The book was created to finance the opening of Cult in Perugia, a community hub dedicated to young people.
